THE NEXT #YSWPHX WILL BE OCToBER 2018!
High School students who have a problem they need solved, who want to learn more about start-up culture, who love coding or design or just bringing an awesome team together – this is YOUR EVENT.
Building on the nationally recognized StartUp Weekend model and pivoting it for students, the CO+HOOTS Foundation has brought together entrepreneurs, industry experts, volunteers and community leaders to offer students a glimpse into what it takes to build a company and a product from scratch.
Our last event in August brought 50 students together to pitch, form teams and develop a product in one shoer weekend. They were connected with dozens of industry experts to help guide them from ideation to implementation and be their hugest cheerleaders in the crowd as they pitched. Youth Startup Weekend is the chance for youth to see how impactful their ideas are and just how much hard work and determination is required to make that dream come to life.
